I'm 30 years old and from Canada. I just home from Ottawa, ON. I have been through quite a bit over the last 8 years. The Lord has brought me low, many times. I find myself saying to myself, "He's left me." But the reality of it, is that He is silent sometimes. Sometimes He wants us to walk out in our lives what He has already taught us. I have been very angry at Him the last few months, thought to myself, why talk to Him, He doesn't answer me anyways. The point in me sharing that, is that a few weeks ago, I was on the phone with my dad and he ministered to me and I was stirred in my spirit. I then went in search for worship music, I hadn't listened to worship music in months. I found this site. The music I listened to I could feel my heart softening. I began to weep. The Lord knows all that we've endured, the pain, the struggles, the temptations, everything that comes at us must first be filtered through Him. Sometimes that is hard to accept that He does this, but He does. Sometimes we can't see why until that season of sorrow has passed and we can see that even though we felt like we couldn't walk, He has carried us through it. Without Him, we would not have lived through it. He has never left me nor forsaken me. Even though in the times when we doubt His faithfulness, He remains faithful. It's hard to imagine how much He loves us. I have a passion for worship and always have, since I was a young child. In times of worship, no one exists in my realm except Him. He brings us low, so He can lift us up. He continually shows Himself as Savior and lifter of my head. So bring me low, and lift me up.
