I wrote this song in '73 or so. I was staying at a buddies place up in Calais, ME, woke up at 4am one morning and wrote this song as I lived it. I changed sun to Son and didn't finish the lyric "and then in my confession, I was where I belonged" till I was in the car heading up to do the vocal. It took 33 years to write this little song. It captures the mood I was in to the 't' . . . I can still feel myself walking through those woods . . . .
