Hi my name is Lance Cooper and I'm an independent artist/songwriter in Tasmania, Australia. In the last couple of months I have just released my debut solo album, ‘Silence and Magnetics’, which was recently added to the Hobart’s Edge Radio ‘recommended listening’ play list. This album holds a solid full band sound, full of alternate rock and the sweet sounds of electronica. I have played in a number of bands over the years, the latest one was a 4 piece called ‘daystream’. After 5 years of solid gigs around the state, supporting bands like Rookie, the Paul Coleman Trio, Audio Adrenaline, the Lads, Taz Youth Alive and others, a couple gigs in Japan and the release of our single ‘Filter’ our time came to and end. Since then the last couple of years have been spent using the time to work on this solo project and it is exciting to finally have it released. My band has now armed up hitting the gig scene once again.
