An indie artist since 1984, Dan Hensley has touched the lives of many where ever he has gone. As many people as have seen him live, and have listened to his voice agree that he is someone special.

Dan started singing at the age of seven, and started writing at the age of ten. Since this time, he has been fostered in his growth personally and professionally by Lisa Weyerhaeuser, Randy Stonehill, Ray Ware, and a list of other artists locally.

In a recent review, Ray Ware called one of Dan's new works, "Alpha Prayer" "The best of the bunch. It resolves to a specific action by the second verse. I can identify with it, a sign that you are on the right path."

The title track, "Hopeful Journey" has already seen a worship version written, yet the project hasn't been released yet. Something very powerful, very special for a project still in development.

Dan's heart is publicly displayed in sharing his encounter & relationship with God. Dan has always been open about sharing his heart, his life in his artistry. Another song which became an instant hit back in 1989, "The Praying Room" is also on this project along with a song about the parent - child relationship in fellowship with the Lord titled "Daddy".

Besides the serious, touching work Dan does, he has a sense of humor that will leave you laughing as he builds a bridge with his audience only seen live. The environment Dan creates will last with you beyond the end of the evening.
