Biography

Joe Meade of Omega Sevyn, a preacher's son, started singing as a young child in church and later with his families Gospel group. As a child he toured California occasionally with his family and a gospel quartet called "The Regents." Joe also started playing drums for the family band. When Joe was approximately 18 he formed a secular band called "Synthetic Black" in Lakewood, California in 1987 with keyboardist Jeff Reed. Transformed into a Christian band called "Omega Seven" in Spirit Lake, Iowa in 1999. Band was split up later in 1999. Joe Meade started the band again in early 2007. Name of band was changed to "Omega Sevyn" in 2007 for uniqueness. Now located in Los Angeles, California. Omega Sevyn is currently putting together music to prepare to play live and make an album. Omega Sevyn does not have a physical cd made as of yet but an electronic album "The Calling" is now available, as well as each individual track.
