Biography

Andy Parkinson is the Youth Pastor and one of the worship leaders at Bethesda Church, Swallownest, Sheffield. He has been writing songs and performing in bands for a number of years. In 2002-2003 Andy attended Capernwray Bible School, where he was a student and one of the worship leaders. Following this, Andy was part of international youth and schools ministry the Pais Project for two years. He played guitar and wrote songs for both their Touring Flip:side and Sheffield Flip:side bands, the latter of which he pioneered. In 2005 Andy's Sheffield Flip:side released their EP "Thoughts for your Head" which was rated at 8/10 in Cross Rhythms magazine,

Of himself Andy says "I'm definitely a classic singer songwriter – I write about all kinds of things, not just worship songs, but songs about life. Songs with melody and heart, as well stuff to get you thinking about God”.
