Written in early 2005, this song was inspired by a work colleague of David, who pointedly asked him what was the point of being a Christian. After a few days of serious pondering and praying, David was moved to write this song.

The sentiment is quite a straightforward one ... the Lord can, and does, intervene in lives directly, but more often He moves His people to work on His behalf. This song is a cry to the Lord to raise up his people to really make a difference in the world, to right wrongs, to end suffering and make it a better place.
