Jonny Shepherd is a worship leader from Rugby, England. He has led worship at his home church, Youth For Christ, New Wine, Rugby House of Prayer and last years Jesus Culture England 2006 conference.

    His new album 'New Day' has just been released.  He says "I'm so excited about the new stuff.  There's a real 'growth' in the songs from the first album - a real sense of 'this is music I would choose to listen to'.  There's still an edge of the experimental alongside the congregational worship songs, which I think just gives it something really unique".

    He is passionate about seeing new music come forth from the church for Gods glory and after a long time in the works, recorded his debut album in 2005, being fully resourced and financed by himself.

    "Honestly" sees 11 praise and worship tracks revolving round the cross of Jesus, who we are in Him and our debt of love to Him. The title track deals with some raw lyrics of admission of our falling short of God, but our responsibility of complete submission to him. While other tracks like the newly recorded "My Reason" is a bold statement of our very design in God is purely to worship our Saviour.

    Jonny has also been involved with the recording of singer/songwriter Beth Tysalls first album 'Like My Shadow' playing guitar to a handful of songs and appearing on Revelation TV as part of her band.
