Flipping 'ek! This is amazing - I can't listen to this without wanting to start dancing around the room (not a pretty sight I can tell you) - I am staggered by the way the Lord brings together people of such huge talent so that the end result is even better than the original. And yes, in answer to an unspoken question - this music really does both bring me close to the Lord and help me praise Him and rejoice in Him ... sir_c

Love it, it's got a big sound and loads of energy and rythem... I think I hear the sound of crowd responce but t'would be great to be in that crowd just going for it to a track like this. With Hydro-electric (Pop) you get two things, lots of electricity and huge jets of water; maybe there's a message in there somewhere? As I listen to your music it seems to be developing towards new possibilities (I use flexi spelling because I've no clue!) I think one day we're going to hear a whole arrangement from you Alex: who knows if your working on such a thing already? but there are signs in New Jerusalem that God is building confidence in you and these tunes are developing beyond themselves, taking new twists and refinements, sometimes agressive upbeat then slow and quiet..."follow your master" let His Spirit lead you! May you recieve times of refreshing because all this music etc sounds like hard work ;)

Holy! I like this track, there's an air of professionalism in it's production...it's very fluid, directional, and you seem confident producing this material.

It's as if the things we treasure most are being burnt up on the altar: and morners coming out of the cemetary still sad that so much has gone, hope trying to explain that God restors and is the origin of life not death. A battle between the Spiritual and the flesh; God's wisdom and mans reason. An altar with the words "will you put your trust in Jesus" glowing in an industrial gloom...and a few of the sisters (brides maids) dancing threw a city throwing pettles around singing "make way for the marraige supper of the Lamb" Maybe your music is helping me imagine a prophetic version of "Four Weddings and a Funeral" ;)

(This comment was posted on myCB Forum by Steve Bradley of 'Imaginary Friend' on June 2, 2007) This has a lovely deep synth bass to it which certainly conveys the Power of God - the quieter interlude is reflective and reminds me of how we need to listen to the Still, Small Voice of God - the music picks up again - it's reminicent of a Church Organ bass pedals stepping down the scale - into the dance beat again and Gods Majesty seems to be reflected here. Great Track Alex - nice touch at the very end with the 'Hammond Organ' sound! Steve - Imaginary Friend

very atmospheric with a sudden burst of depth and power after the first few bars. I\'m sure it would be more effective on a decent sound system but unfortunately I\'ve only listened to it on my laptop so far. I\'m not the best judge of electronic music quite frankly but it sounds a well constructed piece with lots of feeling (would be good to hear alongside some visuals) Steve

Hey alex I love the intro idea , "words". This track for me is very appealing, it has an almost early INXS feel about the underlying rhythm section, you always add an nice pleasant melody which comes across nicley. Also one thing that took me by suprise was that when listening to the track I could hear a very subtle influence possibly of another MCB artist, which is really cool, because i think this shows just how effective this site is becoming , helping us move forward as Christian musicians and being encouraged and shaped by others. Its a great melodic track , with some nice pop rhytum and stylings. very motivational in a relaxing way.

I really like the dynamics used in this track, the intro is full of contrasts, which is very fitting for the theme of the song. Interesting melody, kinda keeps you hanging on, and just when you want it to change it obliges , which is pleasing and resolving. You have used some really good tones , that creates the drama going on in the track. I think this track sits very well with your other tracks and reflects your growing talents for pursuing music with dynamics that reflect the world we live in. Nice one Alex - Done with delicacy and skill: a nice bit of craft.

I can listen to this track over and over again as musically it speaks of the burden and isolation of sin and then the overwhelming relief of having the burden lifted as it goes into the chorus. At that point there is a real sense and feel of joy, for repentance lead to forgiveness, restoration and joy.

steve hasn\'t really got a nickname but you may ca (12 Oct 2006)
I\'m not really in a position to rate the tune because I know very little about electronic music i.e. my personally experience and taste is not in this area normally. However, I appreciate all sorts of music and can usually recognize qualities that make any music \'good\' e.g. melody, rhythm, feel, mood, key, tempo, harmonics, purpose, passion, message (i.e. does the music reflect/suit the message/purpose) so, having said all of this - I like Repentance, in my humble opinion it\'s a piece that ought to be played while praying, contemplating, and quite obviuosly \'repenting\'. I know Alex is very knowledgeable of respected electronic musicians e.g. Kraftwerk, Vince Clarke, Depeche Mode (I know little of these though to be honest, other than the tunes in the charts all those years ago).. and whilst this is likely to influence his music in some way I can\'t help detecting a \'Russian\' element to his music. Now this may sound a silly and obvious thing to say, especially as Alex is indeed Russian, however, I think it makes the music quite unique in that potentially even sub-consciously maybe, Russian \'sounds\' and images etc over the years are likely to be represented in a style of music which could easily be seen as western European and 80\'s (I wil not be surprised if my comments are obvious or even daft, but I did warn that I know very little about electronic music). I can recommend that even people like me (old \'stuck in the mud\' rock/blues/jazz/reggae/soul/ska/60\'s fans)listen to Alex\'s music and allow it to talk and minister to you. God Bless Steve
