Song Information:
In 1985 there was a famine in Ethiopia. A young woman, called Jayne, was a nurse at the time. Jayne gave up her time, and salary, to volunteer to go to Ethiopia and help those who were dying.
At that time Jayne had befriended a guy, a non-Christian, who felt so touched by her deep Christian commitment, that he wanted to know more about Christ himself.
When Jayne returned from Ethiopia she talked to her male friend and their relationship blossomed. Eventually Jayne and her friend fell in love. He eventually became a Christian and they married in June 1987.
After 19 years Jayne and her husband are still married, and still in love.
Kisoboka is "Lugandan" (the language of Uganda) and is a song which I wrote to show how we can all help those in the 3rd (2/3) World, if we really want to. Kisoboka means "it is possible" and tries to expresss how we can all help to bring justice to our world, if we have the will.
Kisoboka is a also song which shows how our Christian actions can inspire people to answer God's call, as well as being a thank you to my wife, Jayne.
