David began writing songs as a teenager, way back in the early 1980s and, after a lapse of almost a decade, began again at the turn of the millenium moving into Praise and Worship songs for the first time. Although cheaply put together, and mostly MIDI-programmed, his first album "I Will Follow"(2001) was well received locally and two of the songs were picked up by TEMA Mission for use at the 2002 Mission Congress in The Netherlands, at which David and his wife, Kathryn, joined the worship band. This was followed up in 2003 by a second album "Sing" with his band theREIGN, and his music is now moving into more performance oriented areas, as marked by "Charcoal Skies" which is featured here in demo form.
