Born and raised in South Africa, having honed her talents on stage with the Lara Osborne Band, she bravely exchanged her African shores for European landscapes. Lara's hit list includes supporting Top South African and Belgian Bands, numerous Belgian Festivals, a live acoustic session exclusively for URgentFM aired to Holland and Belgium listeners, and a Television appearance on Belgiums AVS.

Gift Trivia: The acoustic version of Gift is featured on a Belgian short film titled "Zonder Jou" meaning "without you" set to be released this Winter.

Lara may be a newcomer to England, but not to the Christian Music Scene, having written three songs including the title track for Vineyard Musics South African release: You Will Remain. Her heart is passionately devoted to expressing her faith through music.

The Gift Story; I wrote Gift while taking some thinking time alone at the coast. I had been working on the chorus chords for some time, and, while playing around on my guitar I began to sing the verse and the words came automatically. I was inspired after reading the following "But the gift is not like the trespass. For if many died by the trespass of one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of one man overflow to the many.' I realize my failings at perfection and fall back on the certainty of the gift.
