Genre: Rock/pop/funk - wherever my mood takes me! - Being quite senior means I am quite eclectic!
Influences: Jesus! and all kinds of rock music, pop, some Jazz, U2, Jeff Beck, Satriani, Vai, It Bites, Beatles, Rolling Stones, older Christian artists like Larry Norman, Norman Barratt and I also like the later stuff that Nik Kershaw does!

Been in quite a number of small time bands over the years. Done the usual Praise and Worship stuff as a band member and as a "P&W" leader over many years. Never turned professional as I wanted to stay in the real world and also never had the proper opportunity! Best band I was in was one called "Sack the Sax" and best gig was to the inmates at Armley Jail in Leeds - an unbelievable night!

Decided to concentrate on recording the hundreds of songs that I have written over many years.

Concentrating on using my eclectic knowledge of music and fusing it with the lyrical ideas I get from extended reading as well as my "real life" experiences. My audition song "Goodbye Constantine" was an example of this and I know there will be many christians who do not "get" what the lyrics are saying, but with time they will!

Together with my wife, we have a long history of youth and childrens work and are founder members of Kidz Klub Leeds see http://www.kidzklubleeds.org.uk
