I wage a war Inside my mind I feel the walls They close in around me They take away my freedom The pressure builds Who am I now? My social schizophrenia It grips the tongue Confuses words I don’t know what to do now Fall to the floor The chaos grows It fills the air and suffocates A heavy head I need to raise To look to you and find the peace Remove the thoughts That cause my downward spiral into darkness You grab my hand and lift me up Your presence gives me safety I can see you now above everyone You look down on me and give me strength You died for me and rose again My sins have been forgiven As long as I accept what you did for me forever Repentance serves apologies An honest will gain reward We all will strive to be like but all fall short of glory I can see you now above everyone You look down on me and give me strength I can see you now above everyone You look down on me and give me strength I wage a war Inside my mind I feel the walls They close in around me They take away my freedom The pressure builds Who am I now? My social schizophrenia It grips the tongue Confuses words I don’t know what to do now I can see you now above everyone You look down on me and give me strength I can see you now above everyone You look down on me and give me strength
Take a step back. To the modern day, if you will. We all know this time. We all live in it. The mundane everyday routine, but for what? To live the course of this life to then just……. Die. Ever thought there is something more, something there that we can progress to. Well, there is something and only acceptance in your heart will let you achieve that higher promise. (John 5:24)
