Jones & Halligan - The Autumn Tour 2005 |

Well times are moving on, the leaves are falling and it's time to hit the road with me old mate Rob Halligan (CB Artist 98). Our Autumn Tour this year is now just about finalised and we're doing about 18 dates in all. So from as far south as Worthing, up to Aberdeen in the North and over to Northern Ireland for a few dates towards the latter stages we'll be out with an acoustic set to entertain, educate and engage folks. A major aim of the tour will be to promote Fair Trade and a lot of the venues will have Fair Trade Cafes on the night along with Traidcraft/Christian Aid and Tear Fund stalls. "FAITH, FOLK & FAIRTRADE" - A NEW RECORDING |

Hello CB Community, Announcing the release of my brand new EP: "FAITH, FOLK & FAIRTRADE". It's the result of a new collaboration with the ethical media company PointOV (as in Point of View) based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. They stand for justice and equity in trade and are embarking on a whole new adventure into Fair Trade Music. This EP is part of the curtain raiser for them and it's been a privilege to be involved in a project that provides better circular rewards for artists, raises awareness of Fair Trade as an issue and in the case of this EP provides an inherent kick-back within the price you pay for it to two chairities: 1) Casa Alianza - a charity working with street children in South America, and 2) Tradicraft InterActive - part of Traicraft's activist programme to get people involved in Fair Trade outreach and lobbying. WWJD - not sure exactly - but I know he'd be doing something to alleviate the poverty and destitution so prevalent in the world today - so much of it of our own making.
